‘Sutra’ is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘Thread’.

‘Sambhali Sutra’ is a platform that binds different NGOs with similar mindsets in Rajasthan for the welfare of Rajasthani women.

Under this collaborative effort, women-oriented organisations of Rajasthan will come under one roof and exhibit their handicraft products at Sambhali Boutique, which will help them with market outreach and connect with a broader audience.

Sambhali Sutra will also rent its space for a café with books, which will support Sambhali Boutique for more footfall for handicraft products and people interested in NGOs.

This initiation will take like-minded NGOs to the next level under the umbrella of Sambhali Sutra and bring more employment for women through Sambhali Boutique and Sambhali’s Book Café.

We hope this effort will open many doors to women employment.

 Sambhali Boutique

The Trust set up Sambhali Boutique to enhance the ability of the women and adolescent girls graduating from our Empowerment Centres to support themselves and their families. Most of these women had over a year of training, with the help of national and international trainers. These women have lived in poverty, and most of their literacy comes from participating in Sambhali Trust programs. Yet, these women are fighters who did not accept staying home and limiting their lives to looking after their households.

Every product has a story and dream related to it from these women. One product, one seamstress, is the motto behind each product, where one person makes an article from start to finish. Women have begun to earn well; they support their families financially and become examples of strong women in their neighborhoods.
