Renu Kanwar

Renu Kanwar joined Sambhali in 2022 as a supervisor and sewing teacher at one of our Jaisalmer centers. She co-owned a dairy farm with her husband in a small village close to Sirohi, Rajasthan, before she joined Sambhali. In addition, she engaged in farming.

After her spouse died, she was compelled to leave her work and relocated to Jaisalmer in the year 2020. She completed her high school education after moving to Jaisalmer.

As of 2023, she has been promoted to the position of Programme officer. A part of her current responsibilities is to visit the Empowerment Centre and meet with government officials. Apart from that she is taking the newly made SHGs at our centers in Jaisalmer.
