Ernestine Badegruber

Ernestine Badegruber has dedicated her whole life to social work. She is co-founder of “Soziale Initiative”, an NGO in Austria working with Child and Welfare Departments to help children, adolescents and families develop their potential and find their path in life. With her degree both in social work and in business administration, she led Soziale Initiative from its foundation in 1995 to a widely acknowledged NGO
with currently more than 500 employees.

Ernestine is a well-wisher of Sambhali almost from its beginning in 2007 and has been facilitating the Trust’s growth and development since. After her retirement in 2016 she enhanced her commitment
both as President of Sambhali Austria and as Financial Administrator of Sambhali Trust. She assists in administering the Trust’s finances by budgeting, monitoring expenses and creating
financial reports for its various funders. Through her expertise in management and controlling she contributes to the credibility and sustainability of Sambhali Trust.
